Does it cost anything to be considered?
Nothing at all. Yugo Game Awards are 100 % free thanks to our sponsors and the non-profit structure of MonteGames.
Who chooses the nominees and winners?
Nominees are proposed by regional game development associations, while the final shortlist is determined by our jury of regional veterans, international indie creators, and games media editors. Each eligible title is then scored by the jury across design, art, audio, narrative, and overall impact.
Is there a public vote?
Not this year. Due to tight timeline and limited resources, all awards are jury-decided so smaller studios stand equal chance beside bigger teams.
Do nominees get free VIP tickets?
Yes. Every shortlisted team receives two full-access badges to Monte Games, including the access to VIP sailing tip.
Will the show be streamed?
Absolutely. Watch live on YouTube, Twitch and Tiktok 20:00 CET on 17 October 2025.
